Men’s Rogaine Foam

Rogaine has developed a new product for treatment of hair loss – Men’s Rogaine Foam. It contains the active ingredient Minoxidil, which has been shown to help regrow hair and prevent further hair loss. Minoxidil has been proven to be effective in treating hair loss in some men, but that’s not enough to sell us on this product. The manufacturers have intended for this product to be easier to use than the original Rogaine Serum, but we think they’ve missed the mark. We’d recommend that you use some other product to treat hair loss, and we’ll tell you why.

Ingredients

The active ingredient in Men’s Rogaine Foam is Minoxidil. It’s supposed to work by counteracting the follicle-shrinking action that occurs with male pattern baldness, which allows the regrowth of thicker, fuller hair. However, the amount of “quality ingredients” isn’t here.

Product instructions

Apply Men’s Rogaine Foam twice a day, in the morning in the evening, using these steps:

· Create multiple parts in your hair to make sure you get the product on as much of your scalp as possible.

· Then rinse your hands with cold water and dry thoroughly to minimize melting of the product.

· While holding the can upside down, dispense half a capful of foam.

· Apply the foam over the area of your hair where there is thinning, massaging into your scalp.

· Wash hands thoroughly after application.

· In the evening, make sure you allow time for the product to dry before bed.

Whew! Just reading that long list of instructions makes us tired. Sounds like too much of a hassle!

Price

Men’s Rogaine Foam is sold in a one-month supply for $23.95 and a three-month supply for $42.95.

Side effects

Men’s Rogaine Foam can cause a number of side effects, both from the active and inactive ingredients. It can cause scalp irritation and itching for some users. Also, the Minoxidil in Rogaine Extra Strength for Men can cause serious side effects such as headaches, chest pain, or dizziness.

User reviews

According to many users, Rogaine has missed the mark with this product. The biggest complaint about Men’s Rogaine Foam is that it’s really hard to apply. First, it’s hard to dispense just the amount you need to apply. Also, it tends to melt pretty quickly after dispensing the product, causing a lot to go right down the drain! It’s also a challenge to get apply the product directly to the scalp, where it really needs to go in order to penetrate the hair follicle and start working. Those who have also used the original Rogaine serum mention that it was much easier to apply than the foam. However, like Rogaine serum, the foam can leave pesky stains on your clothes and bedding. Another big complaint about Men’s Rogaine Foam is that it smells bad. They sure could have improved on the original Rogaine by removing that awful scent!

Conclusion

We think you’ll agree that you’d do much better with a product that’s easy to apply and has a better track record of success than Men’s Rogaine Foam. There are so many other products out that, that we’ll sure you’ll find one that’s are a better buy, and more effective!

    Hey Sean,

Check out my review on Therapy-g. Their shampoos are awesome for thinning hair. I recommend using it with a high quality Minoxidil like Provillus. Remember if you already have a shiny bald dome then there are no products that will work. If you’re simply thinning, then get some Provillus right away before it’s too late. Good Luck!
